Great Graphics

Located at 105 East Grace, Downtown Richmond VA (Tel/Fax 804 649 1576) since 1990, the 7500 square foot building served until 2007 as the framing factory for Grafix, our retail location in Georgetown, Washington DC. After 27 years in Washington we closed Grafix at the end of 2006 and passed the baton to Great Graphics. The showroom has subsequently been enlarged from 600 sq ft to over 2000 sq ft and the 14' ceilings allow us to showcase the old vintage advertising posters at their original size, about 47 x 63 inches.

In addition to poster and magazine cover art, we also offer antique prints including maps, architectural engravings, botanicals, city views, and natural history to name a few. We are always finding interesting, graphically striking images that we have never seen before to add to the collection.

The other half of our business is dedicated to creative, quality custom picture framing. We carry, in stock, over 1200 wood and 300 metal picture frame mouldings to choose from and framing projects are routinely turned around in 7-10 days.

The shop is located about 8 blocks East of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and about 2 1/2 blocks East of the Jefferson Hotel (which is one block South on Franklin Street). Our hours are Tuesday thru Sunday and by appointment. Call 434 979 4747 for exact hours and special arrangements.
